McBride Lake Campground is a long time favourite campground in Saskatchewan, Canada. Open from May Long Weekend until the week after September Long Weekend. It has operated for over 50 years on the shores of McBride Lake in the Porcupine Hills, surrounded by the untouched nature of the Porcupine Provincial Forest. McBride Lake is a quiet lake that is great for fishing, paddling and for anyone looking for a peaceful lake in the forest. It is a privately owned and operated campground located within the Porcupine Hills Provincial Park.

The lake and campground are located 45 minutes north of Preeceville, Saskatchewan or 45 minutes south of Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan. Easily accessible on a very well maintained 20km gravel road (#983) off of Highway 9.

The campground offers seasonal and nightly rustic camping, boat launch and fish filleting facilities. This is a rustic campground with basic sites that let you reconnect with nature, there are no powered campsites but outhouses and central water taps are available. The campground office has some camping supplies such as ice, bait, fishing tackle and firewood.

Seasonal Camping

There are 59 long term seasonal campsites located in the campground. People have enjoyed their sites here for many years, and there is a wait list to get in.

Nightly Camping

There are 6 nightly campsites available to reserve. All sites have views of the lake and located close to the boat launch. Walk ins welcome, reservations preferred.

Camping Supplies

The Campground office provides some supplies for your next camping trip. Ice, bait, fishing tackle and wood are available for purchase. Secure storage is also available.

Tune into Nature.

Where the forest is still wild, the campground is still rustic and the area is not commercialized. This is a rustic campground with no power available and cell service is limited. This is where you come to get away and relax in the peacefulness of nature. Listen to the loons call, or the fish jump while you refresh your soul, embrace the simplicity of the wilderness and tune into nature.
